Counts are distinct advertisements unless labelled “tag matches”. Every vacancy chart below uses the same filters.
Why subject totals can exceed vacancy totals
A primary classroom role can carry English, Maths and other tags. Some secondary ads also use broad tags. Each advertisement counts once per tag, so these bars overlap and do not measure specialist positions or the number of teachers being hired.
In this scope: English 613 + Maths 603 − tagged with both 541 = 675 distinct ads with either tag.
