Kaiako – Level 1 Maori Immersion Year 1 to 4

Due to the current Kaiako being on long term leave, we are seeking an energetic and creative kaiako to work in our Level 1 Maori Language Programme, Year 1 to 4 class. The applicant will work within the immersion team and be prepared to follow the school’s enquiry-based approach to teaching/learning. You will be expected to lead by example to motivate and inspire those around you. We anticipate that you will be passionate about working with our wonderful tamariki and their whanau, in our exciting school environment! The suitable candidate will have an understanding of tikanga Māori under the korowai of Ngāti Hine. Start date and hours are negotiable.
