Unqualified Teacher

Dreamers Nest Montessori Early Learning Centre is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and committed unqualified teacher to join our team on a fixed-term maternity cover from October 2026 until the end of March or early April 2027. This role is based in our 2–3-year-old classroom, where our low 1:6 teacher-to-child ratio allows educators to build strong relationships with children and provide high-quality, responsive care and education. About the role You will work alongside an experienced and supportive team to create a nurturing, engaging, and respectful learning environment where children can thrive. We are looking for someone who: Has a genuine passion for working with 2–3-year-old children. Is warm, reliable, and enjoys working collaboratively. Has previous early childhood experience (preferred but not essential). Holds the legal right to work in New Zealand. We offer A supportive and collaborative team culture.
