Enrichment Programme Teacher

Are you passionate about giving children the very best start to school? An exciting opportunity has become available for an exceptional qualified and registered teacher to lead our well-established Enrichment Programme at Campbells Bay Early Learning Centre. Due to our current Enrichment Teacher retiring, we are now looking for a passionate, knowledgeable, and engaging educator to continue this valued programme. This is not a typical teaching role. We're looking for a superstar - someone who genuinely loves preparing children for school through high-quality literacy experiences that align with the New Zealand Curriculum. New Entrant teaching experience is essential for this role. The successful applicant will be confident leading the programme independently. About the role Working with children aged 4 to 5 years in small groups, you will: teach early literacy, language, reading and writing plan engaging, hands-on learning experiences build relationships with local primary schools and coordinate school visits (currently active) lead and continue to develop our highly regarded Enrichment Programme We are looking for someone who: is primary qualified (preferred) or ECE qualified with new entrant teaching experience has new entrant teaching experience within New Zealand has a strong understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum and early literacy development has excellent knowledge of school readiness and successful transitions to school builds positive relationships with children, families and colleagues is enthusiastic, creative, organised and able to work independently takes initiative and enjoys leading a specialised programme.
