Pukeatua School is a Year 1 to 8 primary near Te Awamutu and Putaruru. We focus on quality education in a caring environment where students are actively involved in their learning. We are committed to providing students with the skills required to be self-managed independent learners. The school has a unique working relationship with Save the Kiwi and Sanctuary Mountain Maungatautari. Our unique location is in a beautiful setting with mature trees and extensive grounds including a swimming pool, large court area, and playground. The school has a modern administration area and completed recent classroom developments. Our school has many positive features. These include a very supportive community and our outstanding staff. The school has strong rural community support and works hard to maintain a “rural community feeling”. The Board of Trustees is dedicated and supportive of the school and teaching staff. The roll ranges from 75 to 100 with current projections indicating a stable roll of around 85.
