U4 - Deputy Principal

An exciting leadership opportunity exists for an experienced, highly motivated, and future-focused educator to join our vibrant state-integrated Catholic primary school in Ashburton, South Island. We are seeking an outstanding leader who is passionate about teaching and learning, committed to student success, and eager to make a significant contribution to our school community. This is a teaching deputy principal position that includes: Classroom teaching responsibility in our senior school Leadership of the senior school Curriculum development and school wide assessment responsibilities The successful applicant will: Be an exceptional classroom practitioner with a proven record of raising student achievement. This will be a Schedule 6, Cl 50 position which requires “particular capabilities on the part of the teacher holding it”, as prescribed by the school’s Integration Agreement. Applicants must therefore be willing and able to uphold the school's special character and be eligible to teach in New Zealand.
