About the role

Inglewood Community Childcare Centre is seeking a passionate, qualified and fully registered ECE teacher for a fixed‑term position until 22nd December 2027. We offer a warm, welcoming environment where tamariki are supported to learn, discover, and thrive. Position: qualified and fully registered ECE teacher hours: 38 per week, Monday–Friday. About the role You will: Work primarily with tamariki aged 3 - 6 years Support a high‑quality programme aligned with Te Whāriki Build strong relationships with children, whānau, and colleagues Create a safe, inclusive learning environment Contribute to planning, assessment, and documenting tamariki learning Support children’s learning, development, wellbeing, and cultural identity About you You will bring: A recognised ECE qualification Current NZ Teaching Council registration and practising certificate A genuine passion for children’s learning Warm, positive communication and strong relationship skills Commitment to Te Whāriki and providing high-quality teaching Collaborative teamwork skills Confidence using digital platforms Knowledge of ECE regulations and best practice Eligibility Applicants must: Be based in Aotearoa New Zealand Hold NZ work rights (visa, residency, or citizenship) Hold current NZ Teaching Council registration Please note: We are not an Accredited Employer and cannot support Accredited Employer Work Visa applications.
