Kaiako Reo Rua (Level 3)

Greerton Village School - Te Kura o Maarawaewae is seeking a passionate, energetic and collaborative kaiako to join our bilingual unit in Term 1, 2027. Whakatō Te Kākano is now in its fifth year, as a reo rua (level 3) and continues to grow and strengthen, nurturing tamariki from Years 1–6. The successful candidate will… Be an experienced kaiako who is highly organised, with strong communication skills. Be collaborative and relational, committed to making a difference in the lives of our tamariki and community. Have strong behavior management. Demonstrate a commitment to inclusive, and culturally responsive practice. Have the ability to weave te reo Māori me ōna tikanga, whānau and iwi aspirations into classroom learning to enhance the NZ curriculum. Have strengths in te reo, and kapa haka.
