About the role
We continue in our search to fill our 2 vacancies. Are you ready to move beyond your own classroom while continuing to make a meaningful difference for students? We have 2 RTLB positions available from the beginning of Term 1, 2027. Advertising now gives successful applicants time to plan ahead and complete the current school year. As an itinerant practitioner based at our Papatoetoe Intermediate Hub, you will work across Years 2–10 in a diverse range of schools. You will collaborate with teachers, leaders, whānau, students and other professionals to strengthen inclusive practice and improve outcomes for students with additional needs. This role may suit an experienced teacher who: is ready to move out of the classroom while continuing to positively influence outcomes for students enjoys working collaboratively with adults and building strong professional partnerships has a sound understanding and application of the refreshed New Zealand Curriculum, particularly English and Mathematics has a sound understanding and application of structured literacy has strengths in coaching, mentoring, and supporting changes in teacher practice is reflective, adaptable, organised, and committed to inclusive education can work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team. Essential requirements include: full New Zealand teacher registration and a current practising certificate a recognised teaching degree that meets Massey University entry requirements willingness and ability to complete the compulsory postgraduate study the right to work in New Zealand a full, current driver licence and access to a reliable vehicle availability to work the required hours of 8am–4pm.
