Due to two members of our senior leadership team recently appointed to principal positions, we are seeking exceptional educational leaders to join our team in associate principal and deputy principal roles. Westlake Girls’ High School is one of New Zealand’s leading girls’ schools. Recently recognised with an outstanding ERO review and the Ministry of Education NZ Secondary Schools Education Excellence Award, we are proud of our tradition of excellence and innovation. Working alongside the principal, you will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the school. You will contribute to the development and implementation of strategic and annual plans while providing leadership, management, and mentoring across our diverse school community. You will help sustain our reputation for excellence in academic achievement, sport, the arts, and cultural activities. We are looking for leaders who demonstrate an unwavering commitment to the special character of our school, inspire confidence and trust, and are prepared to go the extra mile for students and staff. You will bring strong interpersonal and communication skills, a collaborative leadership style, and the ability to foster high-performing teams. An advanced sense of humour will also be an advantage.
