Teachers - 2 positions, commencing 2027

Blomfield Special School is looking for 2 dedicated teachers to join our collaborative team. About us: We teach students aged 5-21 and are dedicated to enhancing student achievement. We have a central campus and satellite units in Whangarei, providing a dynamic and supportive environment for both students and staff. Positions available : 2 permanent, full-time positions available in our Senior school. Starting Term 1, 2027. The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the Primary Teachers’ Collective Agreement . The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $64 119 to $107 886, depending on the applicant's qualifications and experience. Individual’s actual base salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed. The ideal applicant will have: Recent, New Zealand teaching experience Special education teaching experience or ECE teaching experience An ability to lead a team of teacher aides Ability to teach Structured Literacy and Maths, with support Experience in Transition programmes for 16 - 21 year olds, and/or PMLD students preferred Ability to connect with a range of whanau Flexibility, a sense of humour, and strong organisational skills Help us create an inclusive and empowering learning environment for our exceptional students.
