Commencing Term 1 2027. Botany Downs Secondary College is a high-performing, multicultural secondary school in East Auckland and a Microsoft Global Showcase School, with innovative learning environments, excellent facilities, and a strong commitment to student success, wellbeing, and future-focused learning. We seek an inspiring, creative, energetic, and collaborative Head of Music to provide strong curriculum and pedagogical leadership within our well-resourced VPA Learning Area, teaching junior and senior Music, including up to NCEA Level 3. The successful applicant will be a reflective and skilled practitioner who has strong curriculum knowledge, effective teaching practice, and inspire a vibrant, inclusive music programme that enables students to achieve their personal best. A commitment to our whānau-based culture, restorative practices, professional growth, collaboration, and the wider co-curricular life of the college is expected.
