Scale A Teachers - Term 1 2027

An exciting opportunity to join a growing kura and help shape its future! Te Kura Rau Iti is a brand-new english medium primary school that opened in February 2026. With our roll continuing to grow, we are seeking two experienced, enthusiastic and highly capable Scale A teachers to join our team from the beginning of Term 1, 2027. We are looking for teachers who are passionate about teaching and learning, bring energy and enthusiasm to their practice, and are committed to achieving excellent outcomes for all ākonga. Applicants will be strong classroom practitioners with sound knowledge of the New Zealand Curriculum and current approaches to effective teaching and learning. As a new and growing school, this is a fantastic opportunity for teachers who enjoy contributing beyond their own classroom and want to be part of building a positive, collaborative school culture from the ground up. Potential leadership opportunities may be available for applicants with the right skills, experience and aspirations. The year level for each position will be determined based on the strengths, experience and skills of the successful applicants.
