Scale A Teacher Yr 7/8 - Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Scale A teacher to join our specialist Technology and Arts rotation. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher with a particular strength or area of expertise to develop into an engaging specialist programme for intermediate-aged students. We currently have some primary-trained teachers who have followed their passion and love it. Students attend specialist classes twice each week as part of their mainstream class programme for approx. 12 sessions, providing engaging, hands-on learning experiences for Year 7 and 8 students We are open to exploring a range of specialist areas. Possibilities could include: Health and Wellbeing Environmental Education and Sustainability Robotics Electronics Dance and drama STEM We are particularly interested in hearing from teachers who can bring energy, creativity and a strong practical focus to their teaching. The successful applicant will be able to design a purposeful programme that develops students' knowledge and skills while providing opportunities to create, investigate, problem-solve, collaborate and learn through practical experiences. This position would suit a teacher who enjoys working with a wide range of students and is excited by the opportunity to develop and lead a specialist programme within a supportive intermediate school environment. School visits are welcome.
