Unqualified Kaiako – Preschool

Are you passionate about working with tamariki? Do you love messy play, big imaginations, muddy gumboots and the magic that happens when children are given time and space to explore? The Meadows Early Learning Centre is looking for a warm, enthusiastic and fun-loving unqualified kaiako to join our preschool team. You don't need to be a qualified teacher, but you do need a genuine love for working alongside children, a willingness to learn, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with tamariki, whānau and our teaching team. At The Meadows, we believe in learning together. Our curriculum is inspired by Te Whāriki, enriched by Te Ao Māori, and grounded in relationships, curiosity, play and a whole lot of joy! About you You love working with children and helping them thrive You are warm, patient, playful and reliable You enjoy being part of a team You are open to learning and growing in your practice You can embrace the occasional mess, noise and unpredictable adventure! You must have experience working in early childhood settings.
