Scale A - Special Character - Year Level Negotiable

St Columba's Catholic School is located in the Frankton/Dinsdale area of Hamilton, Central Waikato. We are a co-ed integrated school (Year 1–8) with a capped roll of 500. We have vacancies commencing in January 2027 and are seeking dedicated and compassionate teachers who would like to join our team. The year level is negotiable for the successful applicants. The ideal applicant will be well-versed in effective pedagogy and will be successful in supporting students to make excellent progress across the NZ Curriculum, with strengths in Structured Literacy and Numeracy desirable. You will have the ability to inspire learners by creating stimulating learning environments, opening up opportunities for student agency and collaboration. This vacancy is a special character position in which case the position requires a willingness and an ability to take part in religious instruction appropriate to the school’s special character, and this will be a condition of appointment. Applicants must be NZ registered, fully conversant with the NZ Curriculum, have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa and be living in New Zealand.
