About the role
Leadership advisor roles are exciting and rewarding opportunities for experienced school principals (current or recent) to support and coach other principals to address the challenges they are facing as school leaders and the implementation of education priorities. Leadership advisor support is provided face to face and remotely, one to one, in clusters or via larger groups/ seminars/presentations/wānanga. The regional leadership advisor roles need principals with successful and rich experience in the primary and/or secondary sectors who have the ability to work across the wide range of state and state integrated schools. Leadership advisors report to a director of education, are in the Te Mahau leadership team and work alongside an integrated team to support schools and school leaders. You will also be supported nationally by a chief advisor and the network of leadership advisors across New Zealand. Applicant's current/most recent terms of employment and remuneration will apply. The roles commence 28 th January 2027.
