Design and Visual Communication Teacher

Due to promotion we are seeking a technology teacher with expertise in Design and Visual Communication (DVC) to deliver our senior programmes within a progressive and supportive department. This role is perfect for an educator who is excited to integrate contemporary design processes, with an emphasis on spatial and product design as you work with students to develop innovative solutions through visual communication. The successful candidate will ideally have experience teaching senior students demonstrate a commitment to collaboration in order to provide rich authentic learning experiences experience using NCEA to identify and evidence student learning. We also welcome people who have had some hard materials teaching experience. You will be driven by the desire to ensure every student can find personal and academic success in ways that grow their dignity, purpose and options. Additional remunerated responsibilities may be available and negotiated depending on your experience and suitability. This position is also suitable for beginning teachers.
