English Teacher

We are seeking to employ a positive, enthusiastic and passionate teacher to join our English department teaching English classes across Years 7-13. Must have a thorough understanding of the New Zealand curriculum and the NZQA framework. This is a full-time, permanent position commencing January 2027 (actual date to be confirmed). The successful candidate will show a commitment to: The special character of the college Collaborative teaching and learning within and across curriculum areas A strong connection with ākonga and whānau Developing an understanding of mātauranga Māori Honouring obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi. All members of our teaching staff are also academic coaches who, with whānau, guide and support a group of students to set academic and personal goals, seek personal excellence and achieve academic success.
