Experienced unqualified teacher

We are looking for a passionate infant teacher. You will be passionate about children in this age group and have a sound knowledge of infant development and have the ability to plan accordingly with best outcome for children. We are a beautiful centre in the heart of Onehunga, we value quality teaching and learning. Key responsibilities include: Plan and implement play-based and planned learning experiences across indoor and outdoor areas. Provide age appropriate experiences that support children's physical, social, emotional, language and cognitive development, confidence and independence. Support language and communication through storytelling, songs, group activities and conversations. Observe assess and document children's learning. Monitor children's health, wellbeing, nutrition, and safety including signs of illness. Maintain a safe, positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment that responds to individual needs.
