The successful candidate will: Provide leadership within their specialist subject area. Drive curriculum development and innovation. Lead high-quality teaching, learning, assessment, and moderation practices. Support and mentor colleagues to build capability and promote excellence. Analyse achievement data and implement strategies to maximise student success. Contribute to enrichment opportunities, including scholarships, competitions, and extension programmes. Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing learning culture. Support the academic, pastoral, and cultural wellbeing of students. You will bring: Current New Zealand teacher registration and a practising certificate. Proven classroom excellence and a passion for your specialist subject. Leadership experience or demonstrated leadership potential. Strong knowledge of curriculum, assessment, and effective teaching practice. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
