Fixed-term Over 2s Kaiako

We’re looking for a passionate Over 2s Kaiako to join our West Dune whānau in a fixed-term position from September–November, with the possibility of this growing into a permanent full-time role as our roll grows. Our Over 2s spaces are home to tamariki aged 2–5 years, so we’re looking for someone who understands and enjoys the different stages, rhythms and needs of both our toddlers and preschoolers. At West Dune, our values of Manaakitanga, Whanaungatanga, Kotahitanga, Wairuatanga and Rangatiratangaguide the way we teach, lead and show up for our tamariki, whānau and each other. We’d love someone who: Builds authentic, mana-enhancing relationships with tamariki and whānau Is passionate about intentional, meaningful teaching Values te ao Māori and wants to continue growing their practice Can respond to the diverse developmental needs of 2–5 year olds Brings curiosity, creativity and purpose to their teaching Is reflective, open to feedback and willing to contribute to our growing team We’re continuing to grow and shape our West Dune kaupapa, and we want someone who is excited to grow alongside us.
