About the role
Mount Aspiring College is a year 7-13 school in Wānaka. We are a community school and provide a comprehensive visual and performing arts programme for our students. This is an exciting and dynamic teaching and learning area, which requires strong communication and collaboration skills. We are seeking a teacher (beginning or experienced) who is wanting to support our students to be creative, curious, courageous and compassionate learners, and who has expertise in drama and performance as a subject to senior levels. This is a full time, fixed term position. Please state your other interests and teaching subjects. The successful candidate will demonstrate: A strong understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum, and curriculum changes. Enthusiasm for contributing to and developing their subject area. The ability to connect with and inspire a diverse range of learners. A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and inclusive education practices. Willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment.
