Classroom Teacher - Term 4 2026 (NE), 2027 (Y1-6)

Kia ora! We are seeking an enthusiastic classroom kaiako to join us full-time on a permanent contract, starting in Term 4 (flexible) of 2026! Role description If able to start in Term 4, you would either join our current New Entrant teacher in a co-teaching position or take on a Year 1 class (up for discussion) that is moving out of their NE room and into a new one for Term 4. In 2027, you would continue as a full-time teacher (likely solo) with a flexible mindset around age groups (likely senior school). If you are a beginning teacher, there would be quality supports in place. School context Fraser Crescent School is a fantastic kura, with a very welcoming staff and wider school community. Our roll is sitting at almost 300 students, with 13 classrooms and just over 30 staff. Structured literacy (Liz Kane) has been embedded here for several years and we have been using Maths No Problem as a core resource for numeracy. At Fraser Crescent school, we are proud Tangata Tiriti and aim to provide a bi-cultural curriculum, working in partnership with Ōrongomai Marae.
