Science Teacher

Pakūranga College is a large (2,300+ students), coeducational, culturally diverse secondary school located in Pakuranga, East Auckland. We are seeking a passionate teacher of Science to join our high performing and well-established Science Faculty. Pakūranga College has an extensive Science programme. The successful candidate will teach junior Science, Year 11 Science and a senior specialist Science subject. Previous experiences teaching NCEA Level 2 and Level 3 Biology or Physics would be an advantage. The successful candidate will demonstrate A strong understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum in Science. The ability to connect with and inspire a diverse range of learners. Willingness to engage with our digital learning environment and to contribute to the active co-curricular life of the school. A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and inclusive education practices.
