Blockhouse Bay Intermediate is seeking an enthusiastic, collaborative Scale A classroom teacher for a fixed term position starting 28 January 2027. Key responsibilities and expectations: Enact inclusive, culturally sustaining, and evidence-informed teaching practices grounded in the science of learning. Build respectful, genuine relationships with students, parents, and whānau to support engagement and achievement. Plan and deliver curriculum learning that caters to diverse strengths, neurodivergence, and cultural identities. Use regular assessment and feedback to make learning visible and drive student progress. Participate actively in professional growth, coaching, and collaborative whānau inquiries.
