The successful candidate will have proven experience with: Being able to form positive, nurturing and inclusive learning-focused relationships and environments with emerging adolescents Leading and supporting a team of teachers to foster a collaborative, positive, and empowering learning environment Modelling effective practices in teaching, learning and leadership within the school Working in collaboration with the senior leadership team to implement strategic initiatives Coaching and mentoring teachers in the delivery of high quality and responsive teaching practices Collaborating with whānau, students and staff to improve student learning outcomes and wellbeing Contributing to the ongoing development of a culturally responsive curriculum that reflects the needs and aspirations of our community The ‘Teaching as Inquiry’ process to grow your practice and improve/accelerate learning outcomes for tamariki Being willing to give discretionary commitment to the school Demonstrating commitment to upholding the vision, motto and values of our school along with enacting the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the Primary Teachers C ollective Agreement . The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range depending on the applicant’s qualifications and experience.
