Beckenham Te Kura o Pūroto is a full primary school located in the south-west of Christchurch. Our kura was gifted the name Pūroto by Ngāi Tahu, reflecting the significance of the ponds and waterways that surround us. Whakarite ngā kete mō te haerenga! - Our vision promotes the hauora and growth of all tamariki, encouraging and equipping them to fill their kete for the journey ahead. We are looking for teachers who bring both expertise and heart to their practice. At the centre of our kura is a deep commitment to relationships - valuing strong connections with learners, colleagues, and whānau. We seek educators who use effective, engaging pedagogies to create meaningful learning experiences that inspire every child to thrive. Class level placement will be confirmed with the successful applicant. The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position is set by the relevant collective agreement.
