Teacher of Fabric Technology

Whangaparāoa College is located 35 minutes north of the Auckland Harbour Bridge on the beautiful Hibiscus Coast with a school roll of 2000 learners from Year 7 to 13. The college has outstanding facilities, a committed and talented staff, and a focus on learner achievement. We are looking for a talented Teacher of Fabric Technology to cover maternity leave. Commencing as soon as possible, or in Term 4, or Term 1 2027. This is an exciting time to join our college as we respond to our recent curriculum review, embedding culturally responsive pedagogy and enhancing mana ōrite mō te Mātauranga Māori. We also have a strong focus on literacy, numeracy and developing rich curriculum knowledge to increase learner engagement and achievement at all year levels.
