HOD Food Technology and Hospitality

We are seeking a well organised, innovative and inspiring leader of food technology and hospitality. The successful candidate will be able to raise student achievement with a focus on student wellbeing and positive learning relationships. Applicants should have a current New Zealand teacher registration and a working knowledge of the New Zealand curriculum. The successful candidate will have: a genuine passion for teaching and a clear understanding of NCEA experience in designing programmes of work experience in the assessment of Achievement Standards experience in differentiated teaching at the junior and senior levels ability to lead a team to work collaboratively to raise student achievement knowledge of the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and ensure te reo me ōna Tikanga are upheld relational practices to tautoko positive relationships within our kura A commitment to mana ōrite mō te mātauranga māori, and cultural responsiveness is also essential.
