Classroom Teachers - Year level negotiable

St Columba's Catholic School is located in the Frankton/Dinsdale area of Hamilton, Central Waikato. We are a co-ed integrated school, Year 1–8, with a capped roll of 500. We have vacancies commencing in January 2027. Due to movement within our school, the year level is negotiable. We are seeking dedicated and compassionate teachers who would like to join our team. The ideal applicants will be well versed in effective pedagogy and will be successful in supporting students to make excellent progress across the NZ Curriculum with strengths in Structured Literacy and Numeracy desirable. You will have the ability to inspire learners by creating stimulating learning environments, opening up opportunities for student agency and collaboration. These vacancies are not special character positions (tagged) and you do not need to be Catholic to apply. However, the position requires a willingness and an ability to participate in religious instruction appropriate to the special character of the school. This is a condition of appointment. Applicants must be NZ registered, fully conversant with the NZ Curriculum and have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa and live in New Zealand.
