About the role
Marian College is a Catholic state-integrated school for girls, Years 9-13, (maximum roll 430) in Northeast Christchurch. We are a high-achieving school with a focus on faith, family, quality education and pastoral care. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic physical education and health kaiako to teach all year levels. Our well-resourced department, which includes a new gymnasium, covered sports courts and dedicated teaching spaces, requires a highly skilled and motivated educator on a fixed term, (parental leave) position for the 2027 school year. The facilities allow for opportunities for both students and staff to engage in a wide range of physical activities and foster holistic well-being. We offer a positive staff culture and students who are engaged within a state-of-the-art learning environment. Our school maintains a friendly, family atmosphere where teachers and students know each other well.
