Qualified Early Childhood Teacher

About us MARC Early Learning Centre is a not-for-profit, community-based centre nestled in the grounds of the Mt Albert Research Centre. Operating from a converted house, we provide an environment that caters for all ages from 0-5 years old. We are proudly parent-governed, and our philosophy is rooted in tuakana/teina learning, and socio/emotional play experiences aligned with Te Whāriki. We have a large outdoor play space that promotes mixed age learning and great staff to child ratios. We also offer paid first aid recertification and Professional Development opportunities. The role We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and qualified ECE teacher to join our team. This kaiako will: Value partnership with parents, whānau, and kaiako. Have a strong understanding of Te Whāriki. Familiarity with Storypark is an advantage. Is positive, adaptable, energetic, and has a genuine joy for providing amazing learning opportunities for our tamariki Hold a recognised ECE teaching qualification (Degree or Diploma) and current Teaching Council registration. New graduates as well as experienced kaiako are welcome to apply. Please note we are not an accredited employer.
