Working hours: Flexible across our centre hours of 7:30am–5:00pmProposed start date: 14 September 2026 Who we areTa’i Tamaiti Turanga Rangatira is a Cook Islands Māori bilingual ECE centre located in Māngere. We are dedicated to supporting our Cook Islands community and families while embracing and celebrating the diversity of cultures within our wider community. What we are looking for A New Zealand registered ECE teacher with a current practising certificate Some New Zealand ECE teaching experience Ability to speak Cook Islands Māori or another Pacific Island language would be an advantage, but is not essential Open-minded, positive and willing to learn A fast learner with a genuine can-do attitude Someone who enjoys working collaboratively as part of a close-knit team Flexible and able to work across our 7:30am–5:00pm operating hours Have a deep understanding of the Te Whāriki curriculum and a commitment to culturally responsive practice and contribute to a curriculum that recognises tamariki identities, languages and cultures. Passion for creating enriching learning environments that support the holistic development of tamariki.
