Kaiako

Pukehina School is a small rural kura located 20 minutes from Te Puke and 30 minutes from Whakatane. We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic kaiako/teacher for term 4 2026 up to 0.8 which could possibly extend to 2027. The successful applicant will work with a small team of other great kaimahi/staff and akonga/students. As a kura/school we value our kaimahi and offer excellent support. The position is suitable for experienced kaiako and those taking their first step on their teaching journey. The ideal candidates will: deliver high quality and engaging teaching and learning programmes be able to inspire and motivate akonga, including kaimahi build positive learning focused relationships with akonga, kaimahi and whānau work collaboratively with others to implement the strategic goals of the kura
