Faculty Leader - Technology

Due to ongoing roll growth, we have a number of exciting new teaching and leadership roles available. We are seeking a practical, encouraging Christ-centred faculty leader – technology to guide our teaching team across materials technology, DVC, digital technologies, and food technology for Years 7–13. Hamilton Christian School is a composite Christian school committed to offering rich, engaging learning grounded in a Biblical worldview. What we are looking for: A vibrant personal Christian faith and a genuine desire to uphold our school’s special character. Minimum of 3 years’ experience teaching NCEA Level 3 within a Technology subject. Experience guiding students through NZQA Scholarship exams or portfolios is a distinct advantage. A solid grasp of Te Mātaiaho / NZ Curriculum, technological practice, workshop safety protocols, and NCEA assessment standards. Excellent communication, strong organisation, and a heart for supporting staff wellbeing, practical innovation, and student achievement, encouraging a team culture rooted in Christian values, biblical truth, and genuine care for one another. You will oversee day-to-day faculty operations, workshop safety, curriculum planning, NCEA moderation, and project showcases alongside a friendly, dedicated team. Applicants must be NZ-registered teachers with current NZ work rights.
