Teacher-in-Charge of Tamatoa Learning Support Unit

Rongotai College is a high-achieving boys’ secondary school committed to excellence in academic and co-curricular achievement. We are seeking an innovative, energetic and relationship-focused Teacher-in-Charge of Tamatoa Learning Support Unit. The successful applicant will provide leadership for the delivery of high-quality, individualised teaching and learning programmes for students with high and very high learning needs, ensuring each student is supported to reach their full potential. They will lead and support teachers and teacher aides, oversee the planning, monitoring and evaluation of programmes, and work collaboratively with whānau, staff and external agencies to achieve the best outcomes for students. Applicants must be NZ registered teachers and demonstrate a strong commitment to inclusive education and the values of Rongotai College. Permanent position commencing Term 1, 2027.
