Te Haikura A Kiwa is a diverse and vibrant learning community committed to doing the very best for our students. Our current roll of over 1,900 students has grown considerably in 2026 and with a further predicted roll growth. We are looking for a full time, permanent NZ registered Te Reo Maori Te Ao Haka and Te Reo Rangatira Teacher to start on 28 th January 2027. Our kura provides education for the multicultural diversity of Manurewa. Te Haikura A Kiwa is a school with sustained improvements across a wide range of metrics, including improving learning, engagement and achievement. We are seeking an enthusiastic New Zealand registered teacher with proficiency in Te Reo Maori and Te Ao Haka to continue improvement of our bi cultural partnership at our Kura. Candidates should have empathy and understanding towards our students and their culture as well as the ability to create flexible and ongoing assessment practices for students. Successful applicants will demonstrate an outstanding commitment to the New Zealand Curriculum and teaching pedagogies.
