Team Leader: Years 0-2

Taradale Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic, relational and experienced teacher to join our kura as team leader of our Years 0–2 team. This is an exciting teaching leadership opportunity for a passionate junior school educator. The successful applicant will have a teaching component within our Years 0–2 team while leading and supporting the wider team. Applicants should be prepared to teach across Years 0–2, with the specific year level and class placement to be discussed and confirmed with the successful applicant as part of our 2027 staffing arrangements. We are looking for someone who is an excellent and reflective junior classroom practitioner, passionate about teaching and learning in Years 0–2 and able to lead, support and grow a collaborative team. Strengths or experience in Structured Literacy, play-based learning and PB4L would be an advantage. The position carries 2 permanent management units plus 1 fixed-term management unit and currently includes 0.2 leadership release, reviewed annually as part of our school staffing arrangements.
