Teacher of History and/or Geography

Rongotai College is a high-achieving boys’ secondary school committed to excellence in academic, cultural, sporting and co-curricular pursuits. We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging History and/or Geography teacher to join our Social Sciences Department in a full-time, fixed-term position for two years, covering a teacher on leave. The successful applicant will be an effective classroom practitioner with strong curriculum knowledge, high expectations for student achievement and the ability to build positive relationships with students. We are looking for a teacher who will bring enthusiasm for the Social Sciences, work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to the wider life of the College. Applicants must be NZ registered teachers and fully conversant with the New Zealand Curriculum and current NCEA requirements. To commence Term 1, 2027.
