Teacher of Science

Rongotai College is a high-achieving boys’ secondary school committed to excellence in academic, cultural, sporting and co-curricular pursuits. We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Science teacher to join our collaborative and well-resourced Science Department in a permanent, full-time position. The successful applicant will be an effective classroom practitioner with strong curriculum knowledge, high expectations for student achievement and the ability to build positive relationships with students. The ability to teach Science across the junior school is essential, with the ability to teach a senior Science subject an advantage. We are looking for a teacher who will contribute positively to the ongoing development of Science at Rongotai College, work collaboratively with colleagues and support the wider life of the College. Applicants must be NZ registered teachers and fully conversant with the New Zealand Curriculum and current NCEA requirements. To commence Term 1, 2027.
