We are looking for an exceptional educational leader and leader of people to join our senior leadership team and work alongside our tumuaki to continue the positive direction and momentum of our kura. Our successful applicant will be someone who is relational, visible, positive and courageous; a leader who builds trust, brings people with them and genuinely enjoys working with tamariki, staff and whaanau. You will contribute confidently to our strategic direction while valuing the strength that comes from working as part of a team. You will bring: a strong commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and culturally responsive practice excellent relational skills and a genuine ability to connect with people confidence as an educational leader, with a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning a student-centred approach that values both wellbeing and achievement energy, positivity and a sense of humour a willingness to be highly visible and actively involved in the life of our kura. At the heart of Tuakau Primary is Whare Manaaki, our bilingual unit, where approximately 30% of our students learn through Te Reo Māori. We have strong connections with our local community, Te Puuaha o Waikato and the wider education community.
