About the role

Located in a beautiful rural setting just 7 minutes from Kamo, Matarau School is a full primary of approximately 300 tamariki. We celebrate our traditions and the unique opportunities of rural life while providing a forward-thinking education. We incorporate key elements of the Cambridge Curriculum in Years 5–8 alongside the BSLA approach to structured literacy, while continuing to strengthen our own local curriculum. With new leadership bringing fresh energy and vision, we are excited about the next chapter for Matarau.
