Assistant Principal (Learning and Achievement)

We seek an experienced, relational, and student-centred leader to join our senior leadership team as an assistant principal. This key leadership role is responsible for curriculum, assessment, reporting, academic monitoring, and student achievement, while supporting the school's strategic and operational leadership. The successful applicant will be committed to fostering a positive and inclusive school culture in which students feel connected, valued, and supported in succeeding. They will build strong relationships with students, staff, and whānau, and use school-wide data effectively to inform decision-making and improve outcomes for all learners. Key responsibilities include: leading NZQA and Cambridge assessment processes, subject selection, and timetabling overseeing reporting systems, academic monitoring, and achievement analysis supporting Heads of Faculty to strengthen teaching and learning outcomes coordinating student achievement tracking, academic guidance, and pastoral collaboration leading the school's Scholarship Club programme and supporting academic excellence initiatives contributing to key school events and the strategic and operational leadership of the school.
