Teacher of Social Sciences

We are seeking an inspiring and collaborative teacher of social sciences to join our school from the beginning of the 2027 academic year. Our social science department is a high-performing and well-resourced team. The successful applicant will be expected to teach junior social studies and a senior specialism. Please state your specialist subject within social sciences. We currently offer junior and senior Social Studies, Geography, History, Classics, and Tourism. The ability to teach Geography could be an advantage. As a dedicated team player with interpersonal skills, you will be familiar with the junior social science curriculum and NCEA assessment programmes. We are looking for an educator who can inspire and engage students, fostering a passion for social sciences. Applicants should be a New Zealand registered teacher committed to the professional life of the school and prepared to play an active role in our vibrant co-curricular programme and committed to working within a Culturally Responsive and Relational Framework.
