We are looking for a caring and talented teacher to work with our amazing explorers! Classroom level by negotiation. All of this in an idyllic rural setting at a very well-resourced school. This can be a full time or 0.8 position for the right applicant. Our school is a U5 school with a roll of 430 set in park-like grounds 5 minutes from Cambridge and 15 minutes from Hamilton. The teacher we are looking for will be able to: Build effective, warm and culturally responsive learning relationships with learners, their whānau and staff Engage learners through relevant, innovative and high-quality classroom management Ensure every child in their class gets a great learning experience every day Work collegially and collaboratively. An understanding of explicit teaching practices along with the ability to teach literacy with a scope and sequence approach is an expectation. We can provide high-quality professional learning opportunities in this area.
