About the role Leigh School is seeking an experienced, effective teacher who genuinely enjoys working with our youngest learners. As our New Entrant teacher, you will lead Te Waipuna - the spring where the source of learning begins, nurturing curiosity, pure potential, and the gentle beginnings of discovery for our tamariki. We are looking for a teacher who can create a warm, positive, well-structured classroom environment where children feel connected, safe, and excited about learning. Key strengths and requirements Foundation learning: strong foundations in structured literacy and numeracy, alongside smooth classroom transitions and routines.
