About the role

CGA is a registered private online high school based in New Zealand. We have a multi-cultural international student cohort of approximately 3000 split across multiple virtual campuses. Our students live in 30 plus countries with a highly-experienced teaching staff. Our strong pastoral care network guarantees students a safe and inclusive environment. The flexibility with curriculum options, the availability of cutting-edge technology and the opportunity to learn at an accelerated pace is attractive for students with a personal drive to excel. We offer both the Pearson Edexcel and Cambridge GCSE and A Level programmes as well as a US Diploma programme. Edexcel is equivalent to Cambridge and both providers are recognised worldwide for entry to universities in New Zealand and globally. Transformation of the way students learn is central to our operation and we are rapidly utilising AI to support student learning. CGA students study at a level according to their academic competence and not their age. Hence, we have a considerable number of students studying at a level in advance of their peer group. Our school has established a strong record of academic achievement. We have a strong belief in extracurricular activity. Staff will be expected to contribute outside of the classroom. Crimson Global Academy (CGA) is seeking a Teacher in Charge of Biology. Understanding of both the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and A levels is an advantage.
