About the role As our Head Teacher, you will provide positive leadership and guidance to our teaching team while helping to ensure high-quality, child-centred learning experiences. You will: lead and inspire effective teaching and learning practices support teachers with planning, assessment and reflective practice foster strong, respectful relationships with children, whānau and colleagues promote play-based, inclusive and nature-inspired learning encourage a positive, collaborative and supportive team culture contribute to centre improvement and professional development help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the teaching programme About you We are looking for someone who is: ECE-qualified with a current practising certificate an experienced and confident teacher with leadership capability warm, approachable, reliable and well organised passionate about children and quality early learning a strong communicator and collaborative team player committed to Te Whāriki and reflective teaching practice enthusiastic about outdoor and nature-based learning.
