About the role

Are you a passionate ECE teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in a warm and supportive preschool? Argyle Preschool is seeking a qualified, enthusiastic, and caring ECE Teacher to join our dedicated team. We are a welcoming, community-focused preschool where children are encouraged to learn through play, build confidence, develop relationships and explore their environment. Our beautiful natural outdoor environment is a special feature of our centre. We encourage children to connect with nature, explore, discover, take appropriate risks and develop curiosity and independence. About you We are looking for a teacher who is: ECE qualified and holds a current practising certificate passionate about children and early childhood education warm, caring, enthusiastic and relationship-focused a strong communicator and team player creative, flexible and willing to take initiative committed to Te Whāriki and quality teaching practice enthusiastic about outdoor and nature-based learning. What you’ll do Create engaging, inclusive and meaningful learning experiences. Build positive relationships with children and whānau. Support children’s learning through play and exploration. Contribute to planning, assessment and reflective practice. Work collaboratively with our teaching team. Make the most of our natural outdoor environment as an extension of the learning space.
